About Rachael

Some passions choose you before you even know what to call them. For me, it started in childhood — roping in my school friends on weekends to rearrange furniture and reimagine spaces, one bedroom at a time. That spark never left. Today, with over 30 years of experience across all facets of the industry and a formal education in Interior Design and Decoration from both RMIT and Design School, I bring a depth of knowledge and an genuine love of the craft to every project.

Based in Melbourne, I work with clients to help them discover and create spaces that are uniquely, beautifully theirs. My own style is eclectic — a lover of colour, texture, and the stories objects tell — and I bring that same curiosity to every client relationship. Great interior decoration, I believe, should be deeply comfortable to live in and a true reflection of the person who calls it home. Nothing brings me more joy than weaving a treasured travel memento, a carefully chosen antique, or a meaningful piece of artwork into a newly transformed space.

I have a particular love for art, ceramics, glass, plants and flowers, and I'm passionate about supporting local makers and artists wherever possible. My clients often tell me the process feels easy — and that's exactly how it should be. With years of experience and trusted sourcing relationships, I'll guide you toward a result that feels cohesive, considered, and completely you.
