How partial styling works

Partial styling uses what you already have. I refine what's there — editing, repositioning, decluttering — and bring in the soft furnishings, art, accessories and key pieces that lift the home from lived-in to listing-ready.

All packages include initial consultation, styling plan, install, professional collection at end of hire, and accessories. Larger items (rugs, lamps, occasional furniture) itemised in your quote. Prices ex GST


The process

1.  We meet at your property for a walk-through (free, no obligation).

2.  You receive a written quote within 48 hours with itemised scope.

3.  On confirmation, we book your install date — usually within 7–10 days.

4.  Install day: typically 4–8 hours. We work around photography and open homes.

5.  Hire runs for the standard period (4 or 6 weeks). Extensions available if needed.

6.  Collection at end of campaign or after settlement.

Common questions

  • Yes — that's the point of partial styling. I refine, reposition and supplement. You don't replace your furniture; I make it work harder.

  • Extensions are charged weekly at 30% of the original hire fee. I'll give you plenty of notice before the period ends, so there's no surprise.


  • Both. Many agents refer me directly because partial styling sits in the gap their full-styling partners don't cover. If your agent isn't familiar with my work, I'm happy to introduce myself to them.

  • Full furniture hire (sofas, beds, dining tables), painting, repairs, cleaning, gardening or photography. I can refer trusted providers for any of these if needed.

  • Up to 25 km from my Melbourne base is included in your package. Beyond that, travel is charged at $1.20/km. Happy to discuss anywhere in greater Melbourne.
